Recent History

This shows part of the new bridge in Abingdon that I made in collaboration with RPS, CTS Bridges and Barratts Mercia with the guidance of Abigail Brown of the Vale of the White Horse Council arts Department.

The imagery for the bronze panels came from the Tenth Century Abingdon Sword that was found in the river nearby. We made the originals in Wax and they were cast in bronze afterwards.

I am currently producing a set of lino cuts taken from the panels in different sizes and colours. These can be bought individually or as a set. More of that later. Full size prints taken from the original wax patterns are also available and measure 800x400 mm.

Two examples of the bronze panels are on show at the Chichester Cathedral Festival and editions are available for sale. If you are interested in purchasing one of these panels please contact me either by Blog or phone on 01420 542949.

Another recently completed project was the Whales Tail for Berkeley homes Hampshire at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth Hampshire. This is also made out of bronze and weighs in at one and a half tons. It is inscribed with Sea Monsters that like the images on the bridge are going to become prints but this time they will be etchings.
